Westworld actress appears in The Last of Us: Part II
Shannon Woodward, the actress who plays Elsie in Westworld, is getting a part in The Last of Us: Part II. Woodward announces her part in Naughty Dog’s new game via Twitter. It is unknown what the role of Woodward will be.
Woodward is ’embarrassingly over-excited’ about her role in The Last of Us: Part II, reports them on Twitter. The actress does not reveal much about her part in the game. It is not known what role she plays. The only thing Woodward is letting go is that she’s teaming up with developer Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann for her role in the game. This is evident from the photo she posted with the tweet. Druckmann is the studio’s creative director, and the photo shows that he is guiding Woodward during motion capture, which can be seen from the clothes the actress is wearing in the photo.
Little is known about The Last of Us: Part II. The second installment in the series was announced in December 2016. Main characters Joel and Ellie return, although this time the player takes on the role of Ellie and no longer Joel. According to Druckmann, the story, which takes place five years later than the first part, is no longer about love, but about hate. Actors Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson reprise their roles as Joel and Ellie. Woodward isn’t the only link between the game and Westworld. The story for the game is being written by Druckmann and Halley Gross. The latter also writes the stories and dialogues for the TV series. It is unknown when The Last of Us: Part II will be released.
