Aqua Computer has announced a pcie riser for m2 SSDs that is equipped with cooling blocks and LEDs. The accessory is intended for fast NVME SSDs that heat up with intensive use. The LEDs can display the SSD activity.

The German Aqua Computer calls the SSD cooler kryoM.2 evo. The product has a heatsink on the front and back and is suitable for SSDs with the m2-2280 form factor. After installation, the SSD is wedged between the two cooling blocks. The bracket with which the card is placed in the housing has holes for ventilation.

Between the pcb and the heatsink on the front is a silicone layer. This lights up thanks to the orange-colored LEDs, which are placed on the pcb. Users can turn the LEDs on or off, or choose to display the SSD’s write activity. Aqua Computer sells the kryM.2 evo for 34.90 euros.
