The GOG Galaxy game launcher and library is likely to receive support from Microsoft. GOG confirmed this in an interview. It is not yet entirely clear what the integration will look like, but it is known that integration with Game Pass will be possible.

The news came out via German-language Gamestar, who had an interview with GOG director Piotr Karwoski during E3. According to Karwoski, after talks, Microsoft has shown interest in participating in GOG Galaxy, which should include integration with Xbox Game Pass. No further details were released, and it is also still unclear when the game service from Microsoft will come to GOG Galaxy.

GOG announced version 2 of Galaxy last month, presenting the software as a kind of ‘refresh’ of the game hub, where purchased games from different platforms can be integrated by linking accounts. This should make it easier to manage PC and console games within a single library, as well as enable cross-platform gaming and chat. For now, GOG Galaxy 2.0 is only available as a beta version.

GOG is owned by CD Projekt Red, the Polish game studio behind games such as The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077.
