Bethesda shows new gameplay trailer Wolfenstein: Youngblood
Bethesda unveiled a new gameplay trailer for Wolfenstein: Youngblood at its E3 press conference. The trailer shows, among other things, how the twin daughters of the protagonist from the previous parts fight against the Nazis in Paris.
Twin daughters Jess and Soph are on a mission to find their father William “BJ” Blazkowicz, the main character from the previous installments of Wolfenstein. The trailer features new weapons, environments and enemies, among other things. There is also a possibility to play co-op as one of the two sisters. The game will be released on July 26.
Wolfenstein: Youngblood is set in Paris in 1980, in an alternate reality where the Nazis have won World War II. Earlier parts in the Wolfenstein series also took place in a timeline where the Nazis rule the world. In Wolfenstein: The New Order it was up to BJ to take out Nazi kingpin Totenkopf. The next part, Wolfenstein: The New Colossus, is set in a United States controlled by Nazis and indoctrinated Americans.
