Download Apple iTunes 10.6

Apple has released version 10.6 of iTunes. This program makes it possible, among other things, to manage a music and film collection; purchase music, movies, and TV shows through Apple’s online music store; and burn CDs and manage the iPod or iPhone. Apple’s iTunes is available for Windows XP and later Windows versions, and of course for Mac OS X. In version 10.6, support for 1080p video has been added, of course, which comes into its own on the new iPad 3. The changelog continues notification of improvements to iTunes match and various security updates.

iTunes 10.6 adds the ability to play 1080p HD movies and TV shows from the iTunes Store.

This release also includes many improvements for iTunes Match, including:

• Improved song matching
• Improved album artwork handling, downloading, and display
• Addresses an issue where songs may skip when playing from iCloud
