Tommy Hilfiger and Hugo Boss to release Android Wear watches
Fashion brands Tommy Hilfiger and Hugo Boss are going to release watches with Android Wear. Movado, licensee of both brands, has announced this. The collections of both brands should be in stores this fall.
Movado has yet to reveal any details about Tommy Hilfiger and Hugo Boss watches. It does say, however, that it will show its first Movado Connect watches under its own name in a few weeks at the Baselworld 2017 jewelery fair. Those are Android Wear watches that should cost from $ 495 and should come out this fall in five different variants.
The American watchmaker has also had a license for the names of Hugo Boss and Tommy Hilfiger for watches for a number of years, and Wear smartwatches will also be shown under those brand names this fall. All models run on Android Wear 2.0, the new version of the operating system for smartwatches that Google released last month.
