Renders Show 2017 Version Of ‘Moto X’ Phone
Renders have come online of a device that should represent the Moto X of next year. It is not yet clear what name the device will receive. The renders show a 3.5mm jack and possibly a micro-USB connection.
The images and a video come from OnLeaks, which often leaks new smartphone models and publishes them via Android Authority. The dimensions are 150×73.8mm with a thickness of 8.4mm. This increases to 9.5mm if you include the excellent camera. The current Moto Z has a thickness of 5.2 mm.
Other differences with the Moto Z are the presence of a 3.5mm connection and a micro USB connection. The latter is not completely clear on the renders, but the angular shape of the port indicates more micro-usb than usb-c. In addition, the fingerprint scanner has a rounder shape than current Moto devices.
Furthermore, quite large bezels are visible, which frame a 5.2″ screen. Android Authority points out the lack of a connection for Moto Mods, which also do not seem to be an option for this device due to the slightly curved back. correct, the device will have a single camera.
