Atari has released RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic for Android and iOS. According to the makers, the game is a combination of the first two RCT games and optimized for mobile devices. The iOS version costs six euros, the Android version is for sale for seven euros.

The app contains 95 scenarios from the first two RollerCoaster Tycoon games, which were released on PC in 1999 and 2002. Just like in those games, players have to manage an amusement park in the app and they can assemble roller coasters themselves. The gameplay, graphics and sound effects are taken from the original games.

The classic version of RollerCoaster Tycoon, unlike previous RCT games for mobile devices, does not contain microtransactions. However, in-app purchases are available; with that, Atari offers the Wacky Worlds and Time Twister expansions for the game, which also appeared for the original PC version of RCT2.

In addition, there is a Toolkit for sale with which gamers can create their own scenarios for the game. This expansion also provides an import and export feature that allows users to share parks, attractions, and scenarios. In addition, according to Atari, the toolkit makes it possible to import most of the saved parks and scenarios from the original PC version of RollerCoaster Tycoon 2.

In recent years, Atari made several mobile versions of the game, such as RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 and 4. Part 3 is based on the similar part for PC, which was less popular than the first two games. RCT4 Mobile is a free-to-play game with microtransactions.

Android users can purchase RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic for 6.99 euros. The game costs $5.99 in the iTunes App Store. The in-app purchases for the expansions range in price from 2.19 to 6.49 euros.
