AMD Releases Crimson ReLive Driver Update
AMD has released a new Crimson driver as expected, called ReLive. The update includes video capture and streaming for games, as well as a host of new features and improvements.
The so-called Crimson ReLive update has appeared on the AMD website, with version number 16.12.1. One of the major new features for supported video cards is the ability to record video while gaming and then stream it. A special toolbar will be available for this, which will allow gamers to control the function.
AMD also mentions a function called Chill, with which the video card should use energy more efficiently. WattMan is also present in the ReLive driver, with which video cards can be overclocked. In addition to a number of smaller features that AMD explains on its website, a large number of bugs have also been fixed.
The release of ReLive comes as no surprise. On Tuesday, the release of the new software was already leaked when the full presentation came out. In addition to all the new features, the release on Thursday was also mentioned.
