Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty also coming to PlayStation announces Team Ninja

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is coming to Sony consoles after all, developer Team Ninja announced. The game will be released on both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in spring 2023.

Developer Team Ninja announced Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty at the Xbox and Bethesda Showcase last weekend. During the showcase it became clear that the game is coming to Xbox consoles, PC and Xbox Cloud Gaming, but a release on PlayStation consoles seemed out of the question. Now Team Ninja is still announcing the game for PlayStation.

Team Ninja is known for the Nioh games and the Ninja Gaiden series. Based on the first trailer, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty resembles Nioh’s style. It is an action RPG and the story is based on Chinese history and mythology.

No gameplay was shown at the time of the announcement. Publisher Koei Tecmo does not yet have an exact release date. The game should be released “early 2023.”
