The third season of Star Wars series The Mandalorian will be released in February

Disney will release three Star Wars series next year, including the third season of The Mandalorian. It should launch in February on Disney+. Ahsoka and the newly announced Skeleton Crew series should also be shown on that streaming service next year.

In the third season of The Mandalorian, main character Din Djarin back to Mandalore, the planet where the Mandalorians originally come from. In addition to Djarin, Grogu, Bo-Katan and Greef Karga will also be seen in the series again. The series can be watched from February on Disney+.

Before that, Andor will be shown, a series about Rogue One character Cassian Andor. Disney has announced that the series will stream on August 31 and will contain 12 episodes. Shooting for twelve additional episodes will start in November. The series will show the life of Cassian Andor in the five years leading up to Rogue One. Diego Luna plays the rebel Andor, just like in the film, who has to steal the plans for the Death Star in the film.

Ahsoka will also be on Disney+ next year. This series is about the Jedi who also appeared in The Clone Wars movie and series, and in The Mandalorian. The shooting for this series is still in progress.

Disney also announced that the new Skeleton Crew series will be released next year. This series stars Jude Law and is created by Jon Watts and Chris Ford. Watts is known as the director of the MCU Spider Man films, Ford was involved as a writer on Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Star Wars: Skeleton Crew revolves around four children “lost in space” and set during the same time period as The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett and Ahsoka. Although the series is about children, it is not a children’s series, Watts emphasizes.
