Insta360 Releases 360-Degree Camera for DJI Mavic Air 2 Drones
Insta360 has released a 360-degree camera that can be clamped to the DJI Mavic Air 2 and 2S. The cameras are then located above and below the drone, so that the drone itself does not appear in the movies.
Insta360 Sphere
The Insta360 Sphere makes videos with a resolution of up to 5760×2880 pixels at 30, 25 or 24fps. At a resolution of 3008×1504 pixels, that increases to 100fps. The maximum bitrate is 100Mbit/s. It is also possible to take raw photos with the cameras, which have a resolution of 6080×3040 pixels.
Insta360 has provided the 360-degree camera with a special clamp so that the 192 gram device can be attached to the DJI Mavic Air 2 and 2S. The camera module has its own 1050mAh battery that can be charged via USB-C. The 360-degree module costs 510 euros.
