Photo of Asus GeForce GTX 1050 Ti appears online
A photo has surfaced online of the box of Asus’ GeForce GTX 1050 Ti. The video card gets 4GB GDDR5 memory. In addition, Gigabyte seems to refer to the arrival of the new card with a teaser. Rumor has it that the launch will take place at the end of October.
The picture of the Asus GeForce GTX 1050 Ti has been published by VideoCardz and follows the appearance of pictures of the pcb. The image of the Asus video card shows that it uses a one-piece cooler with two fans. However, the manufacturer would also come up with a model in its Strix series, with a different cooler.
On Monday, benchmarks appeared online that give a first look at the performance of the new card. According to the leaked figures, the GTX 1050 Ti scores 1853 points in 3DMark Fire Strike Ultra and 2370 points in Time Spy. It would be a card with a base clock of 1354MHz and boost of 1468MHz.
The GTX 1050 Ti will probably get a gpu with 768 cudacores, while the cheaper 1050 will get a variant with 640 cudacores. The base model would be equipped with 2GB gddr5 and the Ti has 4GB of ram. Both cards get a 128-bit wide memory bus. Officially, Nvidia has not announced anything about the arrival of the new video cards, but according to rumors, the presentation will take place at the end of October.
Poland’s Benchmark.pl noted that Gigabyte has posted teasers showing the silhouette of a video card and the words ‘something for everyone’. The manufacturer is probably referring to the GTX 1050 Ti. Although no price is known yet, the card will be positioned below the GTX 1060 and so it is the cheapest video card with Pascal GPU to date.
