Images confirm the arrival of Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti
Pictures have surfaced online of the pcb of an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti. A Pascal GP107 chip and four ram chips are visible in the leaked photos. The card also appears to have a six-pin power connector.
There is a sticker on the back of the card that reads ‘GTX1050Ti – 4GD5’. This suggests that the card will have 4GB GDDR5 memory. According to the uploader, it is a card from the Colorful brand.
Information about the GP107 had already been leaked. According to that information, the chip would have 768 cudacores and 4GB of ram. Benchlife recently released more information suggesting that this is the 1050 Ti. There would be a 1050 in the making, which is also equipped with the GP107-gpu, but only 640 cudacores and 2GB of ram. Both cards would have a TDP of 75 watts. The six-pin power connection in the photos is therefore striking, as a pcie slot can supply that power itself. Presumably, Colorful wants to give people who want to overclock the card space.
Nothing is officially known about the card yet. The Korean site HardwareBattle suggests that the GTX 1050 will be released on October 26 and the 1050 Ti a week earlier, on October 18. The website does not state where it got the information from, making the content less reliable. A system has already appeared on the Media Markt website that is equipped with a GTX 1050 video card. It also states that the computer will be delivered in a maximum of 21 days.
