An entry in the GFXBench database points to the existence of a OnePlus smartphone with a 4k screen. According to the entry, the phone has approximately the same hardware as the existing OnePlus 3.

The entry is titled ‘unknown’, but the operating system says ‘Android OnePlus Edition’, a text that can only be found with other models from the Chinese manufacturer. The screen resolution is listed as 3840×2160 pixels, while the screen size is 6.5″, reports Telefoonabonnement.nl. That screen size is notoriously unreliable in the benchmark: the OnePlus 2 states that it has a screen size between 4.6″ and 13″. .8″, while that phone has a 5.5″ display. The resolution is easier to read and therefore almost always correct.

The entry contains no results, so it is not possible to see how the OnePlus phone performs in GFXBench. The other specifications show the same features as the OnePlus 3, with a working memory of 6GB and a storage that will amount to 64GB.

OnePlus has released few different models so far. In addition to the OnePlus One, 2 and 3, last year it only came with the OnePlus X, a smaller model that will not get a successor. In addition, the company has difficulty making updates for existing devices. Therefore, the manufacturer is merging its Chinese and Western firmwares to be able to push updates faster.
