Download SABnzbd 0.8.0 alpha 2

The second alpha release of version 0.8 of SABnzbd is available for download. With this program files from usenet can be downloaded. This open source program is available for Windows, Linux and OS X, and offers the possibility to load nzb files, after which the appropriate files are picked from usenet. With the built-in web interface it is possible to operate the program via a web browser. The changelog for this release looks like this:

Known issues

• Support for oznzb and similar indexers (not ported from 0.7.x yet)
• RSS analysis when season/episode filters are present, can be very very slow

Upgrading from 0.7.x and older

The organization of the download queue is different from older versions. 0.8.x will not see the existing queue, but you can go to Status->QueueRepair and “Repair” the old queue. Also, your sabnzbd.ini file will be upgraded, making it incompatible with releases older than 0.7.9.
