Benchmark shows suspected specifications BlackBerry Hamburg smartphone
A listing in GFXBench’s database shows the suspected specifications of the BlackBerry Hamburg, the Canadian manufacturer’s second Android smartphone. The specs seem to indicate a device that is less high-end than the Priv.
The listing of the STH100-x, found by Blackberries.ru, shows a device with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615-soc, an older model from the midrange-6xx series of Qualcomms processors. After the 615, the 617, 625, 650 and 652 were already released. It is an octacore with eight Cortex A53 cores at 1.5GHz and an Adreno 405 GPU.
The screen has a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and GFXBench estimates the diagonal at 5.2″. The benchmark shows a memory of 2.8GB and a storage of 10GB, which in practice probably amounts to 3 and 16GB. The camera should have a maximum have a resolution of twelve megapixels, with a front camera that can take pictures at a maximum of eight megapixels.Previous rumors do not mention a keyboard on the Hamburg.
The device, codenamed Hamburg, should become BlackBerry’s second Android smartphone after last year’s Priv. There is no info on any price and release yet, but the manufacturer has previously said that it will come with two new midrange models with Android in 2016.
