Warner Bros. deletes Linux and OS X versions of Batman: Arkham Knight
The game Batman: Arkham Knight will not be released on Linux and OS X. Initially, versions of the game for these operating systems were planned. People who have ordered the game can request their money back.
A developer for game publisher Warner Bros. does not explain on Arkham Knight’s Steam community page why the game is no longer coming out for the operating systems. In the short announcement, the developer states that people who have placed a pre-order can request a refund from Steam. Warner Bros. and Steam do not automatically refund the money.
The PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight faced major problems upon release. The game was performing so badly that Warner Bros. decided to pull the game from Steam two days after its release. It wasn’t until four months later that the game reappeared on the distribution platform, but some of the technical issues were unresolved. Warner Bros. decided to give players their money back if they asked for it. The console versions for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 did work properly.
