Dell presents 4k monitor with OLED screen
Manufacturer Dell has presented its first monitor with an OLED screen at CES. The Ultrasharp 30 Oled has a diagonal of 30 “and a response time of 0.1ms, the manufacturer claims. The monitor has a 4k resolution.
Dell equips the monitor with USB-C for power and video input. The manufacturer claims that the OLED screen achieves a contrast of 400,000:1. According to Dell, the 30″ monitor has a response time of 0.1ms, much faster than many LCDs. The 4K monitor with OLED screen will be released in March in the United States and costs $ 4999 there, converted around 4640 euros. Or and when the monitor will come to the Benelux is unknown.
In addition, Dell comes with some monitors with InfinityEdge design. Like laptops like the XPS 13 and 15, these Ultrasharp models have thin bezels, making them relatively compact for their screen size. The 27″ variant has an LCD with a QHD resolution, while the 24″ version supports full HD. Both will be released in the United States in February. The larger one will cost $719, the smaller one should fetch $349.
