ASRock revealed information about its new H110M-STX motherboard and mini PC at CES 2016. Both use Intel’s new mini-stx form factor for motherboards and PC cases.

The motherboard supports sixth-generation Intel processors and has two DDR-Sodimm slots for up to 32GB RAM at 2133MHz. It also has three SATA 3.0 connections, one m2-key E-connection for Wi-Fi modules, for example, and an m2 connection that is configured for SATA storage. The H110M-STX also has three USB 3.0 connections and one for USB-C.

The H110M-STX uses the Intel H110 chipset and has Intel Gigabit i219V for LAN connections. The whole measures 127x127mm. The mini PC is equipped with the motherboard and thus has the same options and specifications. The dimensions of the mini PC are 155x155x80mm. More details are not yet known. Mini PCs of this size are more common, but often come with an integrated processor and video card. The mini-stx form factor should make it easier to assemble a mini PC yourself by leaving more space. When the motherboard and PC come out, ASRock has not announced yet.
