Nintendo puts website for finding levels in Super Mario Maker online
Nintendo has launched a website that makes it easy for users to search for levels in Super Mario Maker. The website is part of an update that adds a number of new items and shows who is the world record holder for levels.
On the new website it is possible to search for levels in rankings based on player ratings. Levels can also be searched by criteria such as game style, theme and difficulty. If the player logs into the website with his Nintendo Network ID, he can save levels which can then be found in the menu of Super Mario Maker. If the website is used from within Mario Maker itself, it is possible to play found levels immediately. With this Nintendo makes it easier to find new levels, as the system with level codes is quite cumbersome.
The other new element that the update brings is the display of the world record holder per level. Both the game and the website show the name of the record holder and the time he has set. The first player to complete the level is also visible. The new items that the update has added are bumpers, p-switch doors, and the firekoopa clown capsule. The update was announced last week and is available for free to all Super Mario Maker players.
