Japanese hardware manufacturer Scythe has released its new Fuma cooler in Europe. It is a model with two cooling towers, so that it is possible to place up to three fans of 120 mm. Scythe supplies two fans as standard.

According to the manufacturer, the Scythe Fuma fits in almost any housing because of its low height of 149mm. There are six copper heat pipes with a diameter of 6 mm. These are soldered to the copper base plate that is pressed onto the CPU. The cooler, which is given the model number SCFM-1000, can be mounted on all common motherboards and Scythe supplies thermal paste.

While three 120mm fans can be mounted on the tower, Scythe sells the Fuma paired with two of its Slip Stream fans. The fans have pwm support and do their work at speeds ranging from 300 to 1400rpm. Including the two fans, the whole weighs 920 grams. In Japan, the Fuma was announced in October, but from now on the cooling tower is also available in Europe, Scythe announced. The suggested retail price is 39 euros excluding VAT.
