Vodafone app gives customers information about coverage and outages

Vodafone will provide its customers with real-time insight into coverage maps, disruptions and planned work via the My Vodafone app. The new functionality is available immediately in the Android app, an update for the iOS version will follow in a few weeks.

According to Vodafone, the new features in the Android app have been available since 9 a.m. on Wednesday morning. My Vodafone users can now view the network coverage from the app and turn on notifications to stay informed of disruptions or planned work in the area. The app also provides information about the rollout of Vodafone’s 4G+ network.

According to Vodafone, the website, together with the app, is the most used by customers as a service channel. The provider states that more new functionality is on the way due to the move of customers to a new IT system. Vodafone does not provide specific details, but it would concern improved self-service options and better insight into consumption and costs in My Vodafone.
