MSI X570 Gaming Pro Carbon and Plus for AMD Ryzen 3000 images leak out
New images of MSI’s X570 gaming motherboards have leaked out. It concerns the X570 Gaming Pro Carbon and the X570 Gaming Plus. Both motherboards have an onboard fan and a dual PCIe x16 slot.
The new motherboards popped up in pictures at Videocardz.com. Both motherboards use AMD’s X570 chipset and are suitable for the new Ryzen 3000 series.
Many details about the motherboards are not yet known. Videocardz says it will make the specs available at a later date. A few things can be inferred from the pictures. For example, the Gaming Pro Carbon has four DDR4-DIMM slots and two PCIe x16 slots, two PCIe x1 slots and two M.2 slots. For the Gaming Plus motherboard, there are two PCIe x16 slots and three x1 slots with two M.2 slots. Also, both motherboards have active cooling with a fan on the PCH, and six SATA III ports (for the Pro Carbon and Plus in blocks of three by two, and two by two plus two on the opposite side of the chipset respectively).
Earlier this week, MSI already showed a teaser for new X570 motherboards. These will be announced at the end of this month at the Computex fair. It looks like those motherboards will get Wi-Fi 6 support, among other things.
