HP presents midrange Pavilion gaming laptop

HP comes with a 15.6″ gaming laptop in the Pavilion series. The manufacturer equips the device with a Skylake Core-i5 or -i7, GeForce GTX 950M and presents it as an affordable laptop for gamers. Prices start at 999 euros. .

The HP Pavilion Gaming notebook features a 15.6″ IPS panel with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels; a touchscreen is optional. The backlit keyboard has green lighting, and green color accents are also applied to the housing.

On board is an Intel Core i5 or i7 processor of the Skylake generation, accompanied by up to 16GB of RAM. The graphics card is an Nvidia GeForce GTX 950M. As far as storage is concerned, there is a choice of a HDD up to 2TB, a 1TB SSD, or a combination of a 128GB SSD with a traditional HDD.

The Windows 10 laptop is 28.8mm thick and weighs about 2.5kg. There are two USB 3.0 ports, a USB 2.0 port and an SD card reader. Intel RealSense technology, which can take advantage of Windows Hello, is optional. According to HP, depending on the configuration, the battery life can reach more than eight hours. HP will release the laptop in November in the Benelux for 999 euros.
