Razer announces updated Blade 17 gaming laptop with i9-11900H and RTX 3080
Razer equips the existing Blade 17 gaming laptop with updated hardware. Among other things, a configuration with an Intel Core i9-11900H CPU will be released. Razer is also announcing a Blade 15 Base with i9-11900H.
Aside from the CPU, many of the specs match those of the Blade Pro 17 from earlier this year. Incidentally, Razer will no longer use the Pro denominator retroactively from now on.
Announced in May, the Intel Core i9-11900H has 8 cores, 16 threads with a base clock of 2.5GHz and a maximum boost clock of 4.9GHz on a single core. Razer supplies the updated Blade 17 with a GeForce RTX 3080 GPU and the laptop contains two Thunderbolt 4 connectors. The brand mentions a starting price of 2600 euros, but it is not yet known how much the configuration with RTX 3080 and i9-11900H will cost exactly. The cheapest 17.3 “laptop with an RTX 3080 from Razer costs roughly 3300 euros.

In addition to that high-end model, Razer also releases various configurations with an i7-11800H processor. For these variants, there are options with a GeForce RTX 3060, 3070 or 3080. Customers can choose from a 4k touchscreen or full-HD screen with a maximum refresh rate of 360Hz.
Finally, Razer also equips the Blade 15 Base with 15.6″ screen with an Intel Core i9-11900H CPU. That processor is only available in a configuration with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070. The renewed Blade 15 Base has, among other things, a Thunderbolt 4 connector and two PCIe 4.0 slots.The brand mentions a starting price of 1,900 euros, but the cheapest laptop in the new series equipped with RTX 3070 and Intel Core i7-11800H already costs almost 2200 euros.
