MikroTik has released RouterOS 6.42.2. RouterOS is an operating system that focuses on the execution of router tasks think of routing network traffic, but also a firewall, bandwidth management, controlling wireless access points, a hotspot gateway and a vpn server. It can work on the hardware by MikroTik as well as on x86 or virtual machines. A license which is included in the purchase of MikroTik hardware, is required for use.
