Rockstar has released a patch for Grand Theft Auto IV that removes numerous songs from the game. This happens because the purchased licenses have expired. Rockstar also adds new music, but not everything has been replaced.

Users on Reddit and Gtaforums have created lists containing the songs from the radio stations in the game after the implementation of the update. The original music of Vladivostok FM has disappeared in its entirety, but Rockstar has replaced it with new songs.
With other radio stations, such as Liberty Rock Radio, only songs have been removed and no new music has been added. Here are the famous songs like The Smashing Pumpkins, Fascination by David Bowie and Heaven And Hell by Black Sabbath 1979.
Rockstar removes the music because the licenses it has taken on the songs have expired. Grand Theft Auto IV is now about ten years old. PC gamers can hardly avoid the update, if they want to play the game on Steam the update is automatically downloaded. Starting Steam in offline mode could offer a solution.
That GTA IV would lose music was announced in early April by an anonymous source from the gaming industry and Rockstar confirmed that. The update that was then predicted has actually been implemented.
