‘Red Dead Online includes battle royale mode’
A Twitter user posted some details ahead of the release of the Red Dead Online beta. According to the unofficial information, a battle royale mode is coming to Red Dead Redemption 2’s online multiplayer mode.
As the leaked information coming from Twitter user illogical Mods is coming a battle royale mode called Make It Count. The published document states that this mode revolves around an increasingly smaller area, eventually leaving one player. The areas are located in different places like Tall Trees and Stillwater Creek. There are parts where probably only bows and arrows or throwing knives are available. Nothing is known about other weapons yet. Since Red Dead Online will have a player limit of 32, so will the battle royale mode.
There will also be a mode called Most Wanted, where players have to compete against each other and where each kill puts you higher on the leaderboard. The closer a player gets to the highest score, the higher the bounty others can get if you are felled. This mode includes the maps Saint Denis, Tall Trees and Thieves Landing.
According to the information, Rockstar is also introducing a mode where points are awarded depending on which weapon is used. In addition, there is a usual team deathmatch and a race part where you can race with horses.
Red Dead Online is still in beta, but Rockstar is releasing the online multiplayer mode for everyone this week. Players who have purchased the Ultimate Edition of the game will be able to access it on Tuesday afternoon. Then another part of the players will get access on Wednesday; that only applies to those who have played the game at least on the October 26 release date. On Thursday, those who played the game between October 26 and 29 can start. And finally, Red Dead Online will be available to everyone a day later.
