The trademark for Agent, Rockstar Games’ 2009 PS3 game, is no longer valid as no renewal has been requested. Hardly any sign of life has been shown since the announcement and with this development, that seems unlikely to happen again.

The trademark expired on November 19 because no statement of use or extension request was filed with the US Patent and Trademark Office. That came to light thanks to detective work from PlayStation news site DualShockers.

The only sign of life given between the announcement and now was an album of environmental designs, in the portfolio of a former Rockstar employee. In addition, the official product page is still online, which still states that the game will be exclusive to the PS3.

Agent was to be a game in which the player enters the world of espionage and assassins. The game is said to be set in the late 1970s, which probably means the Cold War would be the scene of the game.

Between the announcement and now, Rockstar Games studios have released two Red Dead Redemption games, LA Noire, Grand Theft Auto V and Max Payne 3, among others.
