A Russian blog has posted photos of an alleged midrange version of the Pixel 3. This source also previously leaked the Pixel 3 XL. According to the Russians, this Pixel has a 5.56 “IPS screen and the camera is of the same quality as the other two Pixel 3s.

According to the blog, called Rozetked, the phone is codenamed Sargo. That is a name that recently surfaced in an update to the Google ARCore app. In addition to the presence of the same camera, it is also immediately noticeable that this version of the Pixel does have a 3.5mm jack, where the other Pixel devices no longer have it since the Pixel 2 last year.

The soc would be a Snapdragon 670, a less powerful one than the 845 of the Pixel 3 that is already out, so the price of the device is also expected to be much lower. The phone has 4GB of RAM and has to make do with 32GB of storage. The whole is powered from a 2915mAH battery, unchanged from the Pixel 3.

The housing is made of plastic instead of glass. The speakers are not at the front, but at the bottom. The screen is therefore not an OLED as with the other Pixel 3, but the resolution is the same as with the Pixel 3: 2220×1080 pixels.

The Russians say they have no information about the other phone whose code name was recently leaked: Bonito. It would have a Snapdragon 710 soc on board, which may mean that it will be the XL variant of the phone that has been leaked here. It is unknown when these alleged Pixel devices will be released.
