Microsoft is working on Sysinternals tool ProcMon for Linux
Microsoft is working on a version of Process Monitor for Linux. In addition to the monitoring tool and the previously released ProcDump, there may be more Sysinternals tools from Microsoft for Linux.
That Microsoft is working on Process Monitor of Sysinternals for Linux, makes Microsoft developer Mario Hewardt announced. It is unknown when the tool will appear. Hewardt replied to a comment about the presence of a Linux version of ProcDump on GitHub. That Sysinternals tool for Linux came out last year.
Microsoft is open to bringing more Sysinternals tools to Linux. Hewardt calls to make suggestions in that regard. Process Monitor is a process and thread activity monitoring tool originally created for Windows and part of Sysinternals, a collection of tools for managing, monitoring, diagnosing, and troubleshooting Windows. Sysinternals was originally developed by the Winternals company, which was acquired by Microsoft in 2006.
