Download Ad-aware 8.3.5

Lavasoft has released version 8.3.5 of Ad-Aware. This antispyware program can detect and remove malicious software and suspicious cookies, and now includes an antivirus solution. Ad-aware is available in Free, Pro and Total Security flavors. Among other things, the Pro version should offer better real-time protection and has the ability to remove rootkits. Finally, Total Security has a lot of extras, including a firewall and spam protection, it can make backups and optimize the PC. • While most users had their archive scanning crash fixed with a previous update, this update was made to address those still outstanding.

• Updated Version of Anti-Virus Engine
  The new version brings improvements to the way definition updates are applied, and should make updates significantly faster

• Fix for Ad-Watch Issue
  A fix for an issue where the Ad-Watch Registry and Network modules would be partially activated in Ad-Aware Free.
• Fix for Scheduler Crash
  A fix for an bug where Ad-Aware would crash in the Scheduler on some systems.
• Crash Fix (BSOD)
  Fix for a bug that in extremely rare cases could cause system crashes.
