Download doPDF 7.2 build 377

Softland has released doPDF version 7.2 build 377. This program installs as a printer driver and makes it possible to easily create PDF documents from any program with a print function. The software is free for private and commercial use, does not require Ghostscript to do its job, and does not add any watermark or advertisement. Only in the screen for choosing the location to which the PDF document should be written, there is an entry to novaPDF. This is a similar program from the same makers, with more extensive options, but it is not free. The changelog for this release looks like this:

Fix:

• Changed font names for subset fonts to have correct ANSI characters on documents containing Chinese fonts
• For fonts that didn’t have italic characters, doPDF calculated an angle for skewing that increased with every character, now is fixed
