Download WSUS Offline Update 9.6

Version 9.6 of WSUS Offline Update has been released. This program makes it possible to provide Windows computers that have no or a slow internet connection with the latest updates from Microsoft. Simply checking one or more operating systems, office suites and languages ​​will download all available updates from Microsoft’s ftp server. When the updates are in, an iso file is optionally made per language or per operating system. Other computers can then be updated quickly and easily via a CD or DVD. The following changes have been made in this release:

• Ability added to enable .NET Framework 3.5 feature on Windows 8, 8.1 and Server 2012(R2) (x86/x64) systems
• Update for untrusted/revoked Root Certificates (rvkroots.exe) updated to v. 8.0.2195.0 (kb3050995, March 2015)
• Detection capability added for Windows 10
• Fix: DoUpdate.cmd script will now stop service ‘Windows Update’ (wuauserv) after scanning for missing updates to prevent system reboot prompts
• Fix: UpdateGenerator and UpdateInstaller dialog scaling calculation enhanced
• Fix: When launched by a foreign 32-bit host process on a 64-bit system, CleanupRecall.cmd script did not properly disable autologon
• Fix: Consolidated ExcludeList-superseded-exclude.txt
