Ubisoft will stop online services for several Just Dance games on November 19
On November 19, Ubisoft will stop supporting the online services of many games. It mainly concerns the Just Dance games from different console generations, up to and including Just Dance 2018.
Online functionality of Just Dance 2014 for all consoles up to and including Just Dance 2018 for Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360 will be discontinued. According to a forum post, online support for I Am Alive, Tom Clancy’s EndWar, Splinter Cell: Double Agent, Assassin’s Creed 2, and Rayman 3 will also end on November 19. Ubisoft reports that it wants to focus more on supporting the services of the newer games. The games mentioned have been released on the Nintendo Wii, Wii U, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, among others.
Nothing is going to happen to the single player mode of the games. After November 19, players will no longer see updates or news in the game and play online will no longer be possible. Players will not be able to connect to Uplay and rewards unlocked after the deadline will not be redeemable. Ubisoft recommends that players who still have in-game money spend it. There is no possibility to request a refund.
