Epic Games allows downloading Fortnite for Android without invitation

The beta version of Fortnite on Android is available to everyone. Players no longer need an invitation to play the game. They can scan a QR code via Fortnite’s website to download the game and log in.

In a Twitter thread with a link to the qr code, Epic Games has also posted a link to the list of all Fortnite Beta compatible devices. The developer advises players to use devices with at least Android 8.0. It is not yet known when the Android version will be released from beta.

Previously, players could only play the Android version by invitation. Interested parties could leave their name and email address on the official website. They then received an email with the link for the installer to download the game. In August, players who do not own a Samsung device could also access the beta version.
