Edit.org is a free and simple tool. With this Canva alternative you can create social media graphics online. With this website, you can easily design stunning YouTube Thumbnails, Instagram Posts, Twitter Posts, Facebook Posts, Facebook Covers, LinkedIn Covers, and so on.

To get started, simply visit the homepage of “Edit.org” and create a new account. As soon as you do that, the editor will open up where you can see a blank canvas on the left and the editing options on the right such as Templates, Text, Photos, Objects, etc.

Now, to create a social media graphic, select the “Templates → Select Format” option to choose a size for the design. You can choose from various pre-defined sizes ideal for different social media posts or proceed with a custom size. After that, click on the “Select by Category” option to choose the template you want to use.

There are many categories available such as Gaming, Education, Sports, Technology, Food & Drink, etc. You can easily browse these categories and choose any design from the right panel. When you select a template, it will get added to the canvas. Now, you can edit the default photo and text on  the template.
