Be quiet releases Silent Base 801 housing for 140 euros

Be quiet has released its Silent Base 801 housing. The variant with closed sides costs 140 euros and a version with a glass side panel costs 150 euros. This can accommodate motherboards of the e-atx size or smaller.

The Silent Base 801 housing is 50.7cm high, 24.5cm wide and 53.9cm deep. The variant with a tempered glass panel has a window of 44×49.8cm and a weight of 11.43kg. Compared to the Silent Base 800, the new model has thicker sound insulation and an improved fan controller. It is a larger version of the Silent Base 601, which was released earlier this year.

Be quiet makes different color variants of the Silent Base 801. There is a choice of color accents in orange, black or silver. Three 140mm fans are included and the large case also offers plenty of space for water cooling, for example with a 420mm radiator on the front. There is room for five 3.5″ HDDs or eleven 2.5″ copies.
