Sega Mega Drive Classics Bundle Coming to Nintendo Switch
The Sega Mega Drive Classics bundle of over fifty games is coming to Nintendo Switch. Earlier, the collection of old games already appeared for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One. Sega says the bundle will be released in the winter, but hasn’t announced a date yet.
The Switch version will have an option for local split-screen co-op. There will also be support for online multiplayer. The bundle includes classics such as Golden Axe, Phantasy Star, Sonic the Hedgehog, Streets of Rage and Virtua Fighter. These are games that originally appeared for the Sega Mega Drive. That console was released in Japan in 1988 and appeared in Europe two years later.
A list of all games included in the bundle can be found on the Sega website. Sega Mega Drive Classics will be physically available in stores and will be available for download as a digital version. It is not yet known what the Switch version will cost. The versions for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 are currently for sale for just under thirty euros.
