Renders of an unannounced smartwatch from Samsung have appeared. This Galaxy Watch4 Classic will once again have a rotating bezel. According to previous reports, the smartwatch will be introduced in August and runs on the renewed Wear OS.

The renders of the upcoming Galaxy Watch4 Classic were published by Android Headlines. They appear to be official renders from Samsung. According to the renders, the smartwatch will once again have a rotating bezel, which is used for operating the watch. The side of the watch also gets two buttons.

Android Headlines also claims that the smartwatch will be available in three different sizes; 42mm, 44mm and 46mm. The watch would also come with a black or silver case and a black, white or gray strap. The screen of the watch would be protected with Gorilla Glass DX or DX+, which Corning introduced for wearables in 2018. Android Headlines also talks about water resistance up to 5 Bar.

Earlier images appeared of a Galaxy Watch Active4, which has smaller screen edges and no rotatable bezel, just like the previous Watch Active watches. The renders of Android Headlines confirm that that feature will return in the regular Galaxy Watch4, which would therefore receive a Classic suffix in this generation. Earlier this week, the Thai certification body NBTC already called a Galaxy Watch4 Classic, 9to5Google writes. Samsung last released a ‘Classic’ smartwatch in 2016, with the Galaxy Gear S3 Classic.

The Galaxy Watch4 will use the renewed Wear OS platform, which Google and Samsung are developing in collaboration. Samsung introduced its One UI Watch interface on Monday, which is based on this OS and will be used in the next Galaxy Watch watches. Samsung would announce the Galaxy Watch4 series in August according to previous rumors.
