Treyarch reveals battle royale mode Blackout from Call of Duty: Black Ops 4

Treyarch has published a trailer featuring footage of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s Blackout. According to the developer, the battle royal mode is the largest map yet in the shooter series.

Blackout is the battle royal mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 in which up to 80 players fight each other. The mode features a number of characters and weapons from previous games in the series. On the map that Treyarch published can be seen that Nuketown Island, Hydro Dam and Fracking Tower, among others, are part of the game.

The trailer also shows that players can use helicopters, speedboats and quads, among other things, and also move underwater and with wing suites. In addition, a zombie can be seen briefly and crates land.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is out October 12 for PC and consoles. The Blackout beta will start on September 10 for PlayStation 4, followed by testing on Xbox One and PC.
