D3ton4tor72 reports that a firmware update for the Linksys BEFSR41 Cable/DSL router with built-in 4 ports switch is available. Version 1.42.6 of this firmware includes the following improvements:

• Support MSN Messager 4.5: make a phone call, the lengths of router’s WAN and Lan IPs are different.
• Fixed tracert under NAT mode problem.
• Fixed UPnP getExternIPAddress action problem.
• Fixed the problem where the DHCP Discovery request is sent when the lease time expires.
• Fixed DHCP not sending a request when lease time expires.
