Photos show unannounced GoPro Hero 7 camera
Photos have surfaced online of an action camera that GoPro may want to announce soon. It concerns the Hero 7, which according to the images will be available in three colors.
The photos were posted to Reddit after someone came across a booth in a store displaying the new models. The accompanying album has since disappeared, but The Verge has published some of the images. It shows three cameras, in the colors white, silver and black. The latter model features a display on the front of the camera, while the other models do not. Furthermore, information about water resistance up to a depth of ten meters can be taken from the images.
The Verge writes that there are also indications that optical image stabilization is present, as with previous models in the Hero line. GoPro announced the Hero 6 Black in September of last year. It is capable of 4k recording at 60fps and can capture 1080p image at 240fps using a self-designed GP1 chip. Earlier this year, GoPro came out with a cheaper camera, which it only named Hero and which didn’t have 4k support. The company no longer makes drones.
