Nintendo Switch Wasteland 2: Director’s Cut Releases September 13
Wasteland 2 comes out on September 13 for Nintendo Switch. This is the Director’s Cut version of the game, which was previously released for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game first came out on PC in 2014.
The developer will announce the date in a tweet and Nintendo has put a video online mentioning the release date. A price for the game has not yet been announced. Wasteland 2 is a post-apocalyptic RPG reminiscent of games like Fallout. It is the successor to the first Wasteland game, which was released in 1988.
Late last year, Brian Fargo, founder of developer inXile Entertainment, announced that the game would be coming to Switch without naming a date. In July, it was reported that the game would be released in August, but now the release date has been set for September 13.
InXile has also been working on Wasteland 3 for several years, which was announced in 2016. It is not yet known when that game will be released and whether there will also be a Switch version.
