Renders show design OnePlus Nord 2
OnLeaks has made renders of the OnePlus Nord 2. The device will have a design that is reminiscent of the OnePlus 9 models, with two large camera lenses on the back and a small third camera. The device would be released in July.
The renders are based on CAD files of a prototype, writes 91mobiles, which contains the images of the OnePlus Nord 2 collaboration with OnLeaks publishes. The device would have dimensions of approximately 160×73.8×8.1mm.
The renders show that the device will have a screen with a hole for the front camera in the top left corner. On the back is a camera island reminiscent of that of the OnePlus 9 models, with two large lenses and a third small camera. There is also an LED flash on the back.
According to previous rumors, the OnePlus Nord 2 will get a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 soc. That is the top model from MediaTek, with 5G support and fast Cortex-A78 cores. There would be variants of the Nord 2 with 8GB and 12GB of ram and 128GB or 256GB of flash storage.
The OnePlus Nord 2 would have an OLED screen of 6.43 “with a refresh rate of 90Hz. This makes the display specifications comparable to those of the predecessor. OnePlus would use a 50-megapixel sensor for the primary camera; the same IMX766 module that is used in the OnePlus 9 Pro sits in front of the ultra-wide angle camera.
OnePlus would like to present the Nord 2 in July. Officially, the manufacturer has not yet announced anything about it. OnePlus recently released the OnePlus Nord CE. That is a cheaper model with a price of 299 euros. The Nord 2 should follow last year’s OnePlus Nord. That device had a suggested retail price from 399 euros.
