Blizzard is working on multiple Diablo projects
Blizzard has announced that it is working on multiple Diablo projects. Brandy Camel, community manager at Blizzard, says in a video that further details about the projects may be shown later this year.
camel said that some of the Diablo projects are taking longer than others, although she didn’t reveal any release periods. She also didn’t provide any other details, other than a note that the developer may be showing things related to the Diablo projects later this year. Perhaps she is referring to BlizzCon, which takes place in California in early November.
In June, a job posting revealed that Blizzard is at least working on a new unannounced Diablo project. This is probably not a port of Diablo III for the Nintendo Switch, even though Blizzard hinted at the arrival of this game to Nintendo’s console in March.
In addition, there have been rumors for some time that Blizzard is working on a remaster of Diablo II. Diablo III was released in May 2012, so it is also possible that Diablo IV is one of the projects in development. In theory, Blizzard could also be working on a mobile Diablo version.
