Platform game Guacamelee! 2 will be released on August 21 for PlayStation 4 and PC

Developer DrinkBox Studios has announced that Guacamelee! 2 will be released on August 21 for PlayStation 4 and on Steam. The platform game is the successor to the first part, with which the indie studio achieved success in 2013.

The studio announces the release date in a message on Twitter and has published a new trailer. The video shows the game getting new moves and a new local co-op mode for up to four players.

Guacamelee! 2 will be released first for PlayStation 4 and PC, with the game possibly coming to other platforms at a later date. The first part was also released for the Xbox One and the Nintendo Wii U. The first part of the platform game was received positively, on Metacritic the score is between 87 and 90 points, depending on the platform.
