Xiaomi unveils Redmi 6 Pro with 19:9 aspect ratio and notch
Xiaomi has introduced its first Redmi smartphone with notch. The Redmi 6 Pro has a 5.84″ screen with an aspect ratio of 19:9. The smartphone will be available in three configurations.
The Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro has thin bezels on the sides and top; it is a bit thicker at the bottom. The notch houses a 5-megapixel camera, with HDR and portrait mode. At the back are cameras of 12 megapixels and 5 megapixels and the fingerprint scanner is also located here.
The resolution of the 5.84″ screen is 2280×1080 pixels. The processor is the Snapdragon 625 and there will be three configurations in terms of ram and storage: 3GB and 32GB, 4GB and 32GB and 4GB and 64GB. There is a slot for expansion with micro-sd cards, which also hold two SIM cards.The dimensions of the device are 149.33×71.68×8.75mm and the weight is 178g.
The battery capacity is 4000mAh and the device runs the Android Oreo-based MIUI 9, which can eliminate the notch. The starting price of the device, for the version of 3GB ram with 32GB storage, is 999 Chinese yuan, which, converted and including VAT, amounts to 160 euros.
