HyperX is releasing a wireless version of its Cloud Stinger headset. The Cloud Stinger Wireless weighs 270 grams and lasts seventeen hours on a full battery. The headphones are available for a suggested retail price of one hundred euros.

The over-ear headset uses 50mm drivers, media buttons on the device itself and a microphone that you can slide up to mute. Cloud Stinger Wireless is also adjustable in length and is equipped with rotating earplugs up to an angle of ninety degrees. The headphones connect via an included 2.4GHz dongle, which works with a PS4, PS4 Pro and PC. Charging works via a USB cable and although there is a battery in the headset, it is five grams lighter than the wired alternative.

The non-wireless Cloud Stinger was launched in October 2016. The wired headphones have the same functionality as the wireless version, with the added advantage that the regular Stinger can also be connected to a Nintendo Switch or Xbox One. With a price of about 52 euros, the Cloud Stinger is a lot cheaper than the wireless version.
